Gannon Sims is a pastor, author and songwriter. He is a founding team member of Fresh Expressions US, a movement seeking to bring the church Jesus loves closer to the people Jesus loves. He lives with his wife Carey in Fredericksburg, Virginia where they direct The Center for Faith and Leadership, a training and equipping hub for university students and young leaders and The Center Community, an expression of church rooted in homes and families. His unique brand of baritone spans genres and definitions. Performing in musical theatre productions, houses of worship and a professional chorus before launching into songwriting; his 2017 live album “Fully Alive” brings a community of musicians, friends and co-writers together for a celebration of the ancient liturgy of the Christian Church for today’s audience. His 2021 studio EP, Advent Nativity Epiphany is the first in a series celebrating the richness of the Christian Year. Gannon is a graduate of Baylor University and Duke Divinity School.
